The guys and the girls all met up in town last night for a meal and into the meal I received my promised late Xmas present from the young lady I’m seeing.
She is wonderful and how she pulled this off has amazed me. I told her the book I was interested in buying and she told me not to that she would treat me as part of a gift (not telling you what the rest of that gift was).
So not only did I get this….
..that’s right it’s John Barrowman’s The Autobiography but simply called I am what I am.
But here’s the thing … OMG …. She met him and goy it signed … WOO HOO!!!!
Some girls just do it with style. Incidentally this book is a recommended read.
I really don’t do TV and am happy that I don’t have to join in with the banter at work about ‘Big Brother’ or some other crap that may be on. I am happily left alone.
Now that said I must admit I still like to watch a few shows here and there and was happy to hear that a new series of ‘Being Human’ has started. That’s the one about the vampire, werewolf and a ghost sharing a house.
The one true love I still enjoy is watching a good film. Just like some people have a ‘to do’ list, well I have a ‘to see’ film list. I do have a list of to do’s too but I nailed a film starring Sean Connery called Medicine Man this week and I wasn’t disappointed. A great actor who really has excelled since his James Bond days.
I have loads of films that I have thought were worth seeing but just missed them for whatever reason. I now plan to watch at least four of these films each month if I can. I won’t list them as there are far too many but if they are worth mentioning I will.
